Ephesians 4:7 - And to each of us is given grace, according the measure of
the gift of Christ.

The Measure of the Gift of Christ - Part 2

Through obedience to our Master, we grow and mature into all that He has
given as we abide in Him and He abides in us (John 15:1-6, 16). Some of the
most important things to God are our love for each other and the unity
produced through that love. The most important thing of all is our unity
with Him and the unity of the Spirit mentioned in Ephesians 4:3, which
ultimately finds its full maturity in the unity of the faith in Ephesians
4:13.

As newborn babes, we desire the sincere milk of the Word; and through
obedience to the faith and submission to the Holy Spirit, we grow in grace
(1 Peter 2:2; 2 Peter 3:18; Titus 2:12). What we grow up into is as certain
as the growth itself: we grow into a fully matured man in Christ Jesus. The
measure of the gift that Christ Jesus received was an unlimited measure,
and now He has poured out His abundant life on all those who will receive
in an unlimited baptismal measure (John 7:38-39, 10:10; Acts 1:5). Jesus
has not withheld any of His glory, but has freely given it to those who
will receive (John 17:23-24).

Be faithful with the grace you have received! (Matthew 25:21; 1 Corinthians
4:2, 15:10; Galatians 3:9; Philippians 2:13; Colossians 1:29)
