Daily Bread – October 2, 2023 (The Second Day – Genesis 1:6-8) Jeremiah 9:24 – For if he is going to boast, then let him boast in this, that he understands and knows Me. For I am Yahowah, Who exercises lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the Earth – for in these things I delight, says Yahowah. Father’s Delight Every good and perfect thing comes to us from the Father in Whom there is no changing forever (James 1:17). As He has been, He will continue to always be – for He is unchanging. He is the One Who gives all things pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3-4). He is the One Who brings forth lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the Earth. He has shown His people what He requires of us. He wants us to do justly, love lovingkindness, and walk humbly with Him (Micah 6:8). Above all things, God wants us to walk in love and to show kindness to all men continually (John 13:35). God wants us to be covenant keepers. It is a great tragedy how so many of God’s people become offended, and instead of walking in love and mercy, they walk away from relationships. Yet, the most important thing to God is that we find ourselves loving His lovingkindness and showing the covenant love He has poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5).
