Daily Bread – May 20, 2023 (The Seventh Day – Genesis 2:1-3) Matthew 7:15-20 – But beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you shall know them. Do you gather grapes from a thorn bush, or figs from thistles? So it is that every good tree produces good fruits, but a corrupt tree produces evil fruits. A good tree cannot produce evil fruits, nor can a corrupt tree produce good fruits. Every tree that does not produce good fruits is cut down and cast into the fire. Therefore then, you shall know them by their fruits We have observed that the Church, which is the House of God and the personal manifestation of Christ Jesus, is filled with people who misrepresent their Savior. They claim to know Him, but in works they deny Him. They fill the churches with their sad countenances and strife and claim that they are filled with the life of God. This is a false witness and an epistle that testifies of other things than what is described by the Word of God. Their witness does not agree with the witness God gave of His Son, and their life does not testify to the life of the Spirit. They fail to understand that their disposition in Church is the pinnacle revelation of their spiritual life, and when they are brought into the light, they manifest what is really in their hearts. The Lord Jesus will come, and every man will be brought into judgment and be examined by the fire of His presence. You better get ready!! Blessings, Pastor Mark Spitsbergen
