Daily Bread – June 13, 2023 (The Third Day – Genesis 1:9-13) John 8:31-32 – Then Jesus said to the Jews who believed in Him, “If you remain in My Word, then you are truly My disciples. And you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Jesus’ Life Is The Personification Of His Word Jesus has called us to live by His Word, and to make the conduct of His Word the manner in which we live – now and forever (John 15:17; Colossians 3:16; Matthew 4:4, 12:37, 24:35; Luke 11:28; 1 Peter 1:25). To live there, we must know the Word, speak the Word, and do the Word (John 3:34, 14:23, 8:32, 17:17; James 1:22-23; Acts 20:32; Romans 10:8; and 2 Corinthians 5:19, 6:7; Ephesians 5:26; Philippians 2:16; 2 Thessalonians 2:17; and Titus 1:9; 2 Timothy 1:13; 1 Timothy 4:5, 6:3). The very life of Jesus was the personification of the Word (John 1:1-4).
