Baby Jessica was born prematurely. At birth she weighed approximately 1 pound. She had multiple issues, including pneumonia and a severe staph infection. She was in the hospital four months before she was finally released to go home.
Soon afterward she was diagnosed with a severe vision defect called retinopathy – abnormal blood vessel development in the retinas of her eyes.
She was tested and it was confirmed that she had stage 3 retinopathy (where the blood vessel growth is severely abnormal). The doctors scheduled her for laser surgery to preserve what vision she had left. But God intervened!
Watch the testimony of this thankful father as he tells the story captured live at the Abiding Place.
God is so good! Jessica is healthy and growing well with perfect eyesight!
