About the translation

Begun in 2003, the TOT is an ongoing work of translation from the biblical texts into clear, reverent English.

The New Testament draws on the Byzantine textual tradition, the Textus Receptus, and the Aramaic Peshitta. The Old Testament translation follows the Hebrew Masoretic text.

Translation coverage continues to grow; modernized KJV text is labeled separately.
