Daily Bread 2/29/2024

by

Daily Bread – February 29, 2024 (The Fifth Day – Genesis 1:20-23) Psalms 63:1 – O God, You are my God, early will I seek You. My soul is thirsty for You, my flesh longs for You as one in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. The Rivers Of The Holy Spirit God will pour the floodwaters of the Spirit upon the one who is thirsty. The water courses of God will become rivers of the Spirit through everyone who will participate (Isaiah 44:3). When you become thirsty for God, and cry out for water from the Rock, He will cause the thirsty soul to drink of the water of life that only He can supply. When we drink, these waters of the Holy Spirit flow out of our heart to God and all those who are around us (1 Corinthians 10:4). The rivers of the Holy Spirit are the glory and power of God flowing out from all who drink (John 7:38-39). The rivers of the Spirit are poured out upon the lost and dying world only through God’s saints. These rivers of God are for the revelation of Jesus to the world, the glory of the Church, and the building up of God’s saints. If the world is going to see Jesus and be touched by the reality of Heaven, then we have to participate with the Holy Spirit. It is this flow of the Spirit that will make you a witness of the resurrection of Jesus and a witness of the new creation. The flow of these waters of life will cure diseases and heal the barren wildernesses of people’s lives. The rivers of God will cause the lame to walk and the blind to see. The flow of the Holy Spirit through you and me will open prison doors and set the captives free. Those who are in a world, desolate with the ravages of sin and blindness of heart, wait for Heaven to liberate them – a flow which must come from the heart of those redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
