Daily Bread – December 11, 2021 (The Seventh Day – Genesis 2:1-3) Isaiah 48:18 – Oh, that you would have paid attention to my commandments; then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea! Part 2 ~ Righteousness Flowing A Mighty Stream If we would simply give heed to the commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ and come and dwell in Him, we would have a continual flow of peace like a river. Righteousness in our life would be as consistent and unstoppable as the waves of the sea. If we would only give place to the Spirit of Consecration and be willing to be led into the ways of the Kingdom of God, we would discover the abundance of God’s divine pleasures and confidence – which would result in all that belongs to the Father being realized in our everyday life. Wherever the Spirit of God is being manifested, demon spirits are driven back and the Kingdom of God is revealed (Matthew 12:28). The life of Jesus reveals the beauty and splendor of the Kingdom of God. It is this everlasting Kingdom and culture that we are to seek and desire for our lives above all other things (Matthew 6:33). It is the life and ministry of Jesus that we are to lay hold of as a treasure, and pursue at the expense of all other things. If we will hearken to the commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ and allow His Word to abide in us, then we will have the conquering power that overcomes the wicked one (John 15:7; 1 John 2:13, 5:4-5; Revelation 3:21). Let the righteousness of Jesus Christ, Who is the eternal life, flow like a mighty stream from your life by the Holy Spirit (1 John 1:2; Amos 5:24; Romans 14:17). Blessings, Pastor Mark Spitsbergen
