Daily Bread – March 23, 2023 (The Fifth Day – Genesis 1:20-23) Colossians 1:21 – And you were once alienated and enemies in thoughts by your wicked works, but now He has changed. The Change Brings Union With God God has made us holy, without blemish and blameless now and in the future when we stand before the judgment seat of Christ (Philippians 2:15; Romans 12:1; 1 John 2:29, 3:7, 4:17; and Hebrews 10:19-23, 6:22, 7:6, 9:14; Ephesians 2:10, 13, 5:27; and Titus 3:5-7; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Jude 24; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21). Through His love for us, He has taken ownership of our lives and made us His family and personal possessions (1 Corinthians 6:20, 7:23; Ephesians 1:14; 1 Peter 1:18). He has appointed us together in Christ Jesus, so we may enjoy union with Him now and rule with Him throughout eternity (John 17:21-23). The most glorious thing about this change and restoration, going beyond all other blessings and privileges, is that we are in Him and He is in us. We have an uninhibited relationship with Him and have access to know Him as fully as we desire (Ephesians 3:19; Colossians 1:10, 2:9-10; John 1:16; 1 John 4:13). If we are willing to take hold of the blood and life of Jesus and believe the Father has made us so totally acceptable unto Himself, so much so that we are blameless, then we can begin to enjoy the full revelation of His presence in our lives. The blood of Jesus and the Name of Jesus are the two most powerful things in the Universe. The relationship is only hindered when we draw back through unbelief. Blessings, Pastor Mark Spitsbergen
