Email from Abiding Place     Daily Bread – April 2, 2025 (The Fourth Day – Genesis 1:14-19) John 6:56 – He who eats of My flesh and drinks of My blood dwells in Me, and I in him. Jesus Gives Us His Fullness The very moment we are born again, we are given His life, His righteousness, His holiness, and His relationship with the Father. The life of Jesus becomes our life, and we find ourselves complete in Him (Colossians 2:11-12). Just as Jesus lived His life in the Father and the Father dwelled in Him, He dwells in us and we are to live our lives in Him (John 14:17-23, 17:23). Our bodies are made His holy dwelling place and the members of Christ (1 John 3:24; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 12:27). He has held nothing back from us of His life and called us to be conformed to His image (Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Colossians 3:10). He has given us all of His fullness, and now by dwelling in His love, we mature and are filled with all the fullness of God (John 1:16; Ephesians 3:19-20). As we live our lives in Him, we grow up into Him in all things (Ephesians 4:15). Once again, we do not have to present ourselves before God on the basis of who we are. Rather, we are presented before God in Christ Jesus (Colossians 1:22, 28; 1 Corinthians 1:30, 6:11). We do not come to the Father to be accepted on the basis of what we have done, but what Christ Jesus has done for us. Our response to all He has done is to present our bodies holy and acceptable to God as His dwelling place (Romans 12:1). We are to yield our members to Him as the servants of righteousness (Romans 6:16-22). Blessings, Pastor Mark Spitsbergen
