Email from Abiding Place Daily Bread – April 4, 2025 (The Sixth Day – Genesis 1:24-31) John 6:56 – He who eats of My flesh and drinks of My blood dwells in Me, and I in him. Jesus is the Fountainhead of Our Lives Jesus is the fountainhead and well spring of the life of God and the rivers of the Holy Spirit which issue forth from our lives. Our bodies are the dwelling place of God, and so they are called the temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16; 2 Corinthians 6:16-17). All we must do is imitate Christ and follow His leadership (Ephesians 5:1; Matthew 16:24). Christ Jesus is our life and for us to live is Christ. We dwell in Him and are hidden away in Him (Galatians 2:20; Philippians 1:21; John 14:20,15:4; Colossians 3:3). When Christ Jesus, Who is our life, appears we also appear with Him in glory, we are both in Him and with Him (Colossians 3:1-4). He is our life and our glory, and without Him, we can do nothing. Yet, by Him, we can do all things through Christ Jesus Who strengthens us (John 5:19, 30, 15:1-7; Philippians 4:13). In this glorious life of the Spirit, we can now live and dwell in God’s love; and by dwelling in His love, we have the witness that we dwell in God and God dwells in us. As we yield ourselves to Him, His life flows out of us like rivers of living water (1 John 4:15-16; Colossians 1:27; 1 John 3:24; John 7:38-39). Blessings, Pastor Mark Spitsbergen
