Daily Bread – May 14, 2024 (The Third Day – Genesis 1:9-13) John 6:56 – He who eats of My flesh and drinks of My blood dwells in Me, and I in him. Oneness With God Fundamental to our relationship with God and communion with Christ Jesus is the revelation of the oneness God has granted us with Himself. Jesus said, “He who eats of My flesh and drinks of My blood dwells in Me, and I in him.” (John 6:56). This statement clearly reveals the faith of the New Covenant and the miracle that comes by faith. The life that comes into the believer through the miracle of salvation is the life of Christ Jesus, the life of the Son. Being saved and made a child of God results in a mutual indwelling (John 17:23, 14:20, 23; 1 John 3:24; 2 Corinthians 13:5). The Gospel and miracle of faith provides the great exchange of our lives for His, so we can confidently and boldly say, “For me to live is Christ!” (Philippians 1:21, Galatians 2:20). This miracle of faith brings the ever-abiding presence of Christ Jesus into our lives with the manifestation of His life and power through us. If we partake of Christ Jesus, then we will live by Him (John 6:57). As we lay hold on the reality of this miracle of faith, we will cease to live by our own ability and begin to more fully live by Him. Doubt and unbelief, which only hopes Christ Jesus will hear our prayer and come and help us, will no longer have rule over us. Instead, we will know we are the temple where He dwells; and out of His own life and glory, we have all God’s promises fulfilled in our lives! Blessings, Pastor Mark Spitsbergen
