Daily Bread – August 31, 2021 (The Third Day – Genesis 1:9-13) Ephesians 2:18 – For through Him, we are both brought by one Spirit to the Father. Part 2 ~ Three Co-Participants In Our Redemption There were Three Who were co-participant in the redemption for all who would believe: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God in His great love by which He loved us has reconciled both the Jews who were near and the Gentiles who were far away. Christ Jesus, the only begotten Son, provided the remission of sins and redemption through His blood (Matthew 26:28; Colossians 1:20-22; Ephesians 2:13; 1 John 2:2: Revelation 1:5; 1 Peter 1:18; John 10:9; Romans 5:2). Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit together supply the only access available into the presence of the Father. It is impossible for religion to provide such an access; Jesus is the door, and the Holy Spirit is the One Who enables us to come into this place of union with the Father (John 3:3-6, 4:24, 6:44, 16:13; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 8:15). Both the Holy Spirit and the Lord Jesus intercede for us and equip us in every way to be holy, acceptable, and well pleasing to the Father (Romans 8:26-27,34; Hebrews 7:25). Christ Jesus has forever perfected them that are sanctified, and the Holy Spirit is devoted to perfecting all of our imperfections (Hebrews 7:25, 10:14, 13:21; 1 Peter 5:10; Ephesians 4:13; Philippians 2:12-13). Blessings, Pastor Mark Spitsbergen
