Daily Bread – September 2, 2021 (The Fifth Day – Genesis 1:20-23) Ephesians 2:18 – For through Him, we are both brought by one Spirit to the Father. Part 4 ~ The Holy Spirit’s Ministry All of the things that have been freely given to us by God through Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit reveals. That which eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart understood are made known to us by the Spirit so we might fully participate with the will of the Father (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). As we follow the Holy Spirit into this Heavenly realm and interact with Him there, He guides us. As we interact with Him, we come to know those things that are freely given; and there, we receive all of God’s goodness and glory (Ephesians 3:17-20). He fills us with the love of the Father, the love of Christ Jesus, the joy of the Lord, and the peace of the Prince of Peace (Romans 14:17, 8:14,16; John 17:22; Galatians 5:22-23). Christ Jesus dwells in us by the Spirit He has given to us, and He is also revealed through our lives by what the Holy Spirit does through us (John 14:17-19; 1 John 3:24). The Holy Spirit leads us into the presence of the Father; and there, we are strengthened, taught of God, and continually matured by His power. In His presence, we go from glory to glory, beholding His face because we have received all of His fullness (2 Corinthians 3:17-18; John 1:16, 17:22-23; 2 Corinthians 4:6).
