Email from Abiding Place Daily Bread – February 4, 2025 (The Third Day – Genesis 1:9-13) Proverbs 2:22 – But the wicked shall be cut off from the Earth, and the treacherous shall be rooted out of it. God reigns in righteousness and holiness forever! The wicked and those who do treacherously will be cut off. All who have been born again have received the gift of righteousness and holiness and the power to live in it (Ephesians 4:24, 2:6; Romans 5:17). Today, we live under the ministry of the Holy Spirit which is the ministry of righteousness instead of the ministry of condemnation (2 Corinthians 3:8-9, 5:21; Romans 3:21-22). As those who are alive from the dead, we have the authority to reign over and put to death the wickedness and treachery that would attempt to take us captive and reign over us (Ephesians 2:1, 4:22; Romans 6:13, 8:13; 1 John 3:14; Colossians 3:5). We reign with Christ Jesus in His ministry of righteousness and will forever reign with Him in His ministry of righteousness. His Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom that has no end.
