Email from Abiding Place     Daily Bread – November 5, 2024 (The Third Day – Genesis 1:9-13) Psalms 143:2 – And do not enter into judgment with Your servant; for of all the living, none are righteous in Your presence. Justified And Made Righteous By Being Recreated In Jesus There is only one way to break the power of death and the dominion of sin – by the Name and by the blood of Jesus Christ. By the power of His Name and blood, we were recreated in Christ Jesus and no longer spiritually regarded as the descendants of Adam. Rather, as a new creation, God became our Father. Jesus came and condemned sin in the flesh so the righteousness of the law, which is the righteousness of God, might be established and fulfilled in our lives (Romans 8:3-4, 3:21-22, 9:31-32; 2 Corinthians 5:21). Now, we may come into the presence of the Almighty with all boldness, being granted access by the Spirit (Hebrews 10:19; Ephesians 2:18, 3:12). And even more than just access to His presence, we are made one with the Living God, and now enjoy perfect communion with Him as His sons and daughters. It matters not what your religious beliefs are – whether you call yourself a Jew, a Christian, a Muslim, a Mormon, a Hindu, or a Buddhist – to be accepted by God you must be born of God. It’s not about a religious belief, it’s about being recreated in Christ Jesus and becoming a new man. There is no other way for a man to be born of God than through the miracle of the Holy Spirit that comes to us through the power of the blood of Christ Jesus alone. Jesus is the One Who broke the power of death and the power of Adam’s transgression. Those who will call upon the Name of Jesus will have the miracle that only God can perform – the miracle of a new heart and a new spirit. Now as a new creation, we are justified and shown to be righteous in the presence of God (Jude 1:24; Colossians 1:22,28; Titus 2:14; 2 Peter 3:14; Hebrews 13:21; 1 John 4:17; Luke 1:75; John 17:21-23; Ephesians 4:24; Galatians 2:20; Philippians 1:21, 3:20)!
