Email from Abiding Place     Daily Bread – June 10, 2025 (The Third Day – Genesis 1:9-13) Revelation 4:5 – And from the throne came forth lightnings and voices and thunders, and seven torches of fire burned before the throne which are the Seven Spirits of God. The Seven Endowments of the Holy Spirit – Empowered by the Holy Spirit The attributes of the Spirit of Life are in everyone who is born of the Spirit. When we are born of the Holy Spirit we receive the Holy Spirit into our lives (John 3:5; Romans 8:9). There is no reason to believe our miracle birth resulted in anything less than the same empowerment that Jesus had when He was born of the Holy Spirit. In fact, Christ Jesus dwells in us by the Spirit which He has given us, thus emphasizing how nothing was left out of what He possesses (1 John 3:24; Galatians 2:20; Colossians 1:27). When we were born of the Spirit, we received the nature of the Holy Spirit which Peter also referred to as the divine nature (John 3:6; 2 Peter 1:4; Romans 8:9). God gave us all things pertaining to His life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Our lives are to be lived in the Holy Spirit as Zechariah said concerning the seven spirits of the Lord, “It’s not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord” (Zechariah 4:6). By the Spirit of the Lord we are going to fulfill those things Father has commanded us. The Lord has given us the ability to see things through the eyes of the Holy Spirit, and hear the voice of the Lord, and understand the things of God which are only supplied to us by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). We have been given the same privilege to be continually saturated with the presence of the Lord both from within and without, just as Jesus had. We are commanded to live in and be guided by the One Who possesses these seven Spirits, the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16, 25; John 16:13). Blessings, Pastor Mark Spitsbergen
