The Holy Spirit

Who is the Holy Spirit? He is the Spirit of Holiness! He is the Eternal God who is One with God yet a separate individual. He, like the Word of God, was there with God and was daily His delight throughout eternity. It was God the Holy Spirit Who brooded over the chaos to bring forth life in Genesis. He was the One who overshadowed Mary at the time that Christ Jesus was conceived. He is the One who comes upon our lives and we are born again.

Throughout the history of mankind, a very select few were privileged to be anointed and crowned with His glory. Yet today, because of the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, He has been poured out on all who will receive Him. He has come into our lives to reveal and glorify Jesus. He has anointed us with the same anointing so that we can come to know Him just as Jesus knew Him, and by relationship with Him do what Jesus did.

Through the power of the name of Jesus, we have been made the Temple of the Holy Spirit. By the indwelling of this Holy Spirit, Christ Jesus has come to dwell in us. Christ Jesus still calls all today to come and drink of the gift that only He can supply. When we drink, the Holy Spirit flows out of our lives like rivers of living water.
